PSAT - October 13th 2021 |
All 10th and 11th grade students will have the opportunity to take the PSAT/NMSQT on October 13th, 2021. The PSAT is the Preliminary SAT and National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test for juniors. Students will receive a score report to help them discover their strengths and weaknesses, which will help them to prepare for the SAT. Please check your email for more information from NCDPI.
Testing will begin promptly at 7:15 AM. Students will report to lunch & classes after testing, if the test is administered on a full school day.
Students who wish to use a calculator on the test may use their own. Visit PSAT Approved Calculators for information on approved and prohibited calculators. Calculators cannot be shared between students.
Please bring a valid photo ID to testing (MP student ID, driver's license, or current passport).

Home School Students only who wish to pay $17.00 to take the PSAT/ NMSQT at Myers Park High. -Must be zoned for Myers Park High School. -ID presented at the time of testing must be a valid ID at the time of use. -Students who do not complete all pre-administration information for testing will not be allowed to test and refunds will not be made once test are ordered. |
SAT Testing
SAT Testing is held on the weekends and is not the responsibility of the CMS school system. Please register online or see your counselor for assistance.

College Board Accommodations

Students with an IEP / 504 may request that their counselor file for accommodations with College Board. Up to date medical documentation must be provided with parental consent. Approved accommodations apply to PSAT / SAT/ AP exams.
