AP UPDATES:NEW INFORMATION
AP/College Board continues to offer ongoing updates. Please check this information carefully if you will be taking an AP exam this year. This information contains several direct links to websites that will offer more specific information related to each topic. AP EXAM GUIDE FOR STUDENTS: AP has released a detailed guide of testing parameters for students in the attached presentation. This includes the 4 key pieces of information for every test: 1. E Tickets; 2. Five Steps prior to testing; 3. Exam Day; 4. Scores, Credit, and Placement. DIGITAL AP EXAM GUIDE MAY 4 = AP EXAM DEMO AND AP IDS DISTRIBUTED: On May 4, College Board will email students their test-taker IDs as well as distributing exam specific demos. Students should confirm their email address prior to May 4 to ensure they receive these important emails from College Board. CONFIRM EMAIL ADDRESS AP EXAM INFORMATIONAL YOUTUBE CHANNEL: The YouTube Channel linked below offers specific information for AP exams. Students are encouraged to visit the channel and watch the pertinent videos for their exams. AP YOUTUBE AP EXAM CHECKLIST: On each test day, students will need an AP Exam Checklist. This can be printed or simply copied by hand from the link below. Students should prepare this prior to each test day, after receiving their test taker emails on May 4. CHECKLIST FOR DOWNLOAD AP PREP WEEK: The week prior to exams, May 4 - 8, will be AP Prep Week, hosted by the College Board on their YouTube channel. Please use the link below to access their test prep information. PREP CHANNEL LANGUAGES: CHINESE, FRENCH, GERMAN, ITALIAN, JAPANESE, SPANISH: All of the aforementioned listed language exams will require that students download an App for testing. This App will be available beginning on MAY 11. More information regarding these tests may be found here:INFORMATION. Students who encounter problems in acquiring the App prior to test day should complete the attached survey from College Board: SURVEY. MUSIC THEORY ANSWER SHEET: Music Theory exams will require a student answer sheet. This may be downloaded and printed OR it can be transposed by hand. Please visit this website for more information about this test: INFORMATION DOCUMENTS FOR EXAMS: Most AP Exams will require certain documents or supplies. Carefully review the AP Testing Guide at the top of this email to see the specific things you will need for each test. Most documents can simply be downloaded to view online or print. If you have difficulty accessing these documents or materials prior to test day, please reach out to your AP teacher for assistance. |
All students enrolled in AP course or planning to take an AP Exam at the end of the school year MUST complete the AP Course/Exam Registration in their classes by the end of the third week of school. ALL students planning to complete an AP

Getting AP Test ScoresAll AP scores are published through College Board and will require your 2019 AP number. If you have misplaced your AP number, you may request it from Ms. Dowdy during the 2019-2020 school year.
